A Rose that Never Wilts
This Rose has been hand forged out of solid copper in my Cotswold forge and workshop. Each step of the craft from cutting the petals, through heating in the forge to finally shaping the flower are done without any power tools to ensure the rose stays as close to its natural beauty as possible. Just adding the texture to the petals takes a blacksmith most of a day. As each rose emerges from the metal in it it's own way no two are ever exactly alike, however the flower should measure around 30cm by 10cm at the head. This one doesn't have any leaves on the stem.
