Blacksmith's aren't in the business of making cheap, here one day gone the next items. We make things the old fashioned way so that we can be proud of putting our names to them. 
 
These firepits are no different. They're made out of ridiculously oversized solid iron plate (6mm thick on the big sizes, over three times thicker than what you'll find cluttering up a garden centre). 
 
Why's that important? It means they weigh a ton!
 
So they'll last a lifetime but are also much more efficient at heating- a heavy base takes the fires heat and radiates it straight at the surrounding area, lighter versions lose most of their heat as convection. It's like the difference between an open fire and a heavy woodburner. 

Each firepit features...
 
-A handmade solid iron firepit with solid handforged legs and handles. 
 
-A range of size options from a cosy 50cm to a gigantic 90cm.
 
-A 'self colour finish' this means the iron is unpainted and will slowly patina outdoors but won't deteriorate. A coat of oil will keep it from patination if desired.

Please note these firepits are heavy duty, around 45kg in the largest size. We suggest using two people to move them.
